Szabolcs Kiss is a freelance graphic designer and branding designer, creating visually stunning design solutions in a range of fields including entertainment, music, nonprofits and advocacy organizations. He graduated from MIT with a degree in Urban Planning and Architectural Design, focusing his studies on community development, and community-engaged art.
He created an exciting merchandise set for the Horizon of Khufu VR Experience in New York, that combined modern visual aesthetics with deeply researched Ancient Egyptian iconography. He also lent skills as the brand manager for Tiny Room Studios: building the studio's visual identity, creating marketing materials, and building their website. Tiny Room is a state-of-the-art studio and live recording space and a community hub for Los Angeles and Inglewood musicians, artists, and creatives.
He served as resident graphic designer and marketing coordinator at Amigos de los Rios, an environmental non-profit in Altadena, CA. He also created the branding for the newly founded Altadena Pride organization, and is working with the Joshua Tree Highlands Artist Residency to modernize their visual identity and website.
Besides design Szabolcs has a wide range of backgrounds, including visual art, music composition and recording, and fantasy world-building.
